ESWEEK CyberCardia Workshop on Medical CPS
Call for Abstracts
The 2019 ESWEEK Medical CPS workshop will take place in New York City on October 17 2019. Organized and hosted by CyberCardia CPS researchers, the workshop is a collaborative effort that promotes learning and sharing best practices in CPS research. The CyberCardia project primarily focuses on cardiac medical devices. The scope of the workshop, however, encompasses Medical CPS in general. The workshop celebrates the past successes of the CPS research community and introduces new challenges and innovations in the field.
The CyberCardia Workshop on Medical CPS will focus on the following topics:
- Formal modeling, analysis, simulation, and implementation of Medical CPS, including: Cardiac cells, tissue, and whole organ and associated devices (pacemakers and implantable defibrillators); Artificial pancreas; Neural circuits; other Medical CPS.
- Medical CPS security and privacy.
- High-performance simulation techniques for Medical CPS, including WebGL.
- Computer-assisted Clinical Trials
- Embedded Medical Devices
- Machine Learning for Medical CPS
- Case Studies

Submissions
Submitted abstracts should be 1-2 pages in length and should be written in English conforming to the IEEE conference proceedings format (8.5” x 11” page size, two-column). Abstracts should be submitted in PDF by e-mail to the workshop chairs.
